How to play Milio — Wild Rift guide, combos & tips

Milio is a Support enchanter in Wild Rift built entirely around making his allies hit harder and survive longer rather than fighting battles himself. Every tool in his kit, from his Warm Touch passive to his ultimate Breath of Life, routes bonus magic damage, shields, healing, and even a full crowd-control cleanse through whichever ally he links up with. He is a low-damage, low-durability pick with some of the best team-wide utility in the support role, ideal for players who want to carry through their ADC or bruiser instead of through their own mechanics.

Strengths

  • Breath of Life cleanses root and stun-type crowd control on nearby allies while healing them and granting heavy tenacity, giving Milio a hard answer to lockdown-heavy compositions.
  • Every ability he lands on an ally triggers Warm Touch, empowering their next auto-attack or ability with bonus magic damage plus a guaranteed burn, which meaningfully boosts a carry's trades.
  • Warm Hugs carries 2 independent charges, letting him shield and speed-boost two different allies, or the same one twice, in quick succession during a dive.
  • Nothing in his base kit requires melee range, and both Cozy Campfire and Warm Hugs can be self-cast, so he can peel for himself and disengage even when isolated.

Weaknesses

  • His own damage and survivability sit near the bottom of the support pool; caught alone, he has little to threaten with and only a small shield and speed burst to escape.
  • Ultra Mega Fire Kick is a single-target, short-range knockback: miss it and Milio loses both his poke and his best disengage tool for the full cooldown.
  • Cozy Campfire's heal is modest and delivered over time rather than in one burst, so it will not out-race real burst damage on its own.
  • Hard engage that lands before he can react, such as a hook, a chain-stun, or an execute, punishes him hard, since Breath of Life sits on a long cooldown and cannot undo damage already dealt.

Combos

Skill order: W > E > Q (max R whenever it becomes available)

Early game

Get Cozy Campfire onto your carry before trades start; the attack-range boost alone lets them land extra autos in extended exchanges, and it re-triggers Warm Touch every few seconds for free bonus damage. Save your Warm Hugs charges for genuine all-in attempts rather than spending them on chip poke, since you only get two before a long recharge and running dry right before a dive is how supports die. Use Ultra Mega Fire Kick to punish overextensions and to knock divers off your carry, not as a farming tool, because your wave clear is close to nonexistent. Once Breath of Life comes online at level 5, start looking for moments to bait the enemy support into committing crowd control so you can cleanse it and swing the trade.

Mid & late game — teamfighting

From mid game onward, Milio should hover at max range and let the enemy commit first, since almost everything in his kit is reactive rather than a true starting tool. Keep Cozy Campfire active on your primary carry before the fight opens so the range and passive-burn synergy are already running the moment damage starts flying. Hold Breath of Life until the enemy has actually thrown its hard crowd control onto your side rather than firing it the instant the first stun lands; timed a beat late, it cleanses more, heals more, and can turn a losing fight around. Spend Warm Hugs charges on whoever is being focused down in the moment, and remember that its shield and speed effects can stack, so you can double up on one diving ally who is sitting on low health.
