Before level 8 Divine Judgment (R) cannot yet bail you out of back-to-back all-ins and you have no dash: Stand United (R) shields you from across the map and brings him in, while Shadow Dash (E) taunts the exact divers your page names.

You only win by reaching levels and items: from level 7 Living Forge (P) hands a nearby ally global shopping too, so you never lose the tempo of a recall. And Searing Charge (E) knocks up whoever has stuck himself to you.

You must never be the one who gets reached: Unstoppable Force (R) makes him open the fight and leaves you shooting from outside it. Radiant Blast (Q) then strips 20% armour and magic resist for 4 seconds off everyone he piled up.

Footwork (E) dashes to you and hands you a matching shield: his page calls it peel that outright saves a carry, which is what you do not have. All Out (R) instead takes the diver who reached you and throws him out of the fight.

His damage sits in a few huge hits: the 20% armour Radiant Blast (Q) strips for 4 seconds lands entirely on Whisper (P)'s fourth shot and on Curtain Call (R). And Deadly Flourish (W) roots whoever is walking at you.

What kills you is whoever reaches you: Frost Shot (P) slows with every single hit and Enchanted Crystal Arrow (R) stops from off-screen whoever was starting the dive. You get to hold the max range your whole kit depends on.

Final Hour (R) sends her into the middle of the fight and that is usually where she dies: Divine Judgment (R) buys her the window to get out. Celestial Blessing (W) heals and speeds two people, so she chases while you back off.

Divine Judgment (R) only ever covers one ally and its cooldown is long: with Arcane Shift (E) he gets himself out, so you can keep it for yourself. His long-range poke also never asks him to stand where you cannot cover him.

Two hypercarries on one team: if you both reach your items the game is yours, but before minute fifteen neither of you wins a fight. Only take it when top and jungle bring the early pressure themselves.

Unbreakable (E) intercepts projectiles and cuts 35% of incoming damage: raised in front of you it is the peel your page says you do not have. Stand Behind Me (W) then leaps him next to you, sharing his armour and magic resist.

No dash and no self-peel: Whimsy (W) polymorphs the diver for the second you need to walk back to range, and Rampant Growth (R) gives you extra health and knocks up whoever just landed on you. Help, Pix! (E) covers the poke in between.

Tidecaller's Blessing (E) puts a slow on your next few hits, and with Divine Ascent (P)'s attack speed that is a lot of hits in a few seconds: whoever chases you stops arriving. Ebb and Flow (W) keeps you up in the paper levels.

Song of Celerity (E) keeps you at the range where nobody reaches you and Aria of Perseverance (W) covers the poke you cannot trade back early. Crescendo (R) then stuns the line that was walking straight at you.

A Mantra (P) empowered Inspire (E) is a shield plus movement speed the instant someone commits to you, and the ring lets a second nearby ally pick it up. Focused Resolve (W) roots whoever tries to stick to you.

Against teams that lock you down instead of killing you: Breath of Life (R) cleanses roots and stuns and hands out heavy tenacity, and Warm Hugs (E) carries two shield charges. He is C tier at 48.2%: only if CC is the problem.
